Changes Them...Changes You   Real Change in Seattle (NW Cable News)

Making a Real Difference Everyday
Each month, more than 250 homeless and vulnerably housed vendors get a hand up to helping themselves by selling our weekly newspaper.  Real Change readers respect and depend upon our award-winning journalism for information about their community and how they can get involved and make a difference.  Real Change’s groundbreaking advocacy and organizing work is building a cross-class movement of homeless people and their allies that can deliver real wins for those who need change the most.

Awards:
2004: Society of Professional Journalists, Susan Hutchison Bosch Award for outstanding Achievement
2005: Seattle Weekly, Best Grassroots Media Source
2005: Municipal League of King County, Organization of the Year
2006: Society of Professional Journalists, Best Personality Profile, Best Humorous writing
2006: State Housing Finance Commission, Friend of Housing Award

Real Change depends on reader support to publish our weekly newspaper and fund our organizing. More than forty percent of our 2005 budget came from readers like you.  Our most recent Annual Report (PDF File) and Strategic Plan (PDF File) are available for download here.  Thank you for supporting Real Change.
