Ways to Give

On September 18th 2014, over five hundred vendors, volunteers, and supporters joined us at Real Change’s 20th Anniversary Breakfast to celebrate two decades of Real Change.

- Margie Joy and Maria Elena Ramirez were recognized as Volunteers of the Year for their incredible work and ongoing commitment to Real Change.

- Nick Maxwell and Susan Russell were awarded Vendors of the Year for their outstanding work as Real Change vendors and deep involvement in our advocacy efforts.  Click here to watch the 2014 Vendor of the Year video by volunteer videographer Kevin Ring.

  - Seattle Office of Civil Rights Director Patricia Lally accepted the Change Agent Award on behalf of Glenn Harris, for his tireless and impactful work as the Executive Director of the City of Seattle’s Race and Social Justice Initiative.

- Cross-class activist, educator and author Betsy Leondar-Wright gave an inspiring keynote speech that drove home the message of solidarity.

Together we raised $109,340 in support of our mission to provide opportunity and a voice for low-income and homeless people while taking action for economic, social and racial justice.

This event would not have been possible without the generosity of our volunteers, donors, and sponsors.  Click here for a PDF version of the 2014 Breakfast Program.
