Thanks to all of our Individual donors
Over 801 donors invested in the success of our Winter Fund Drive, raising more than $157,000. Donations ranged in size from $5-$20,000, with grassroots donations between $25-200 making up most of the total. We welcomed 194 first time donors. The success of our Winter Fund Drive tells us that the work of Real Change does matter. Thanks to all our donors!
Thanks to all our Foundation supporters
The RealNetworks Foundation made a 2013 award $10,000 for general operating support. We appreciate the time and energy the RealNetworks staff put into their grantmaking process.
The Medina Foundation awarded a grant of $30,000 to support 2013 operating expenses. A special thanks to the staff at The Medina Foundation for their encouragement and support in the application and follow-up process.
The Norcliffe Foundation awarded Real Change $15,000 again in 2013 to support general operating costs.
Last year we received grants from the following foundations: The Horizons Foundation ($4,000 for Vendor Services); the Stansbury Family Foundation ($6,000 for general operating and program support); the Elmer L. and Eleanor J. The Real Change 18th Annual Breakfast was held on September 20th at the Washington State Convention Center. Our Keynote Speaker, author Chuck Collins, shared an inspirational message to our 505 guests. We honored Vendors of the Year – Sharon Jones and Addis Michael Jr., Volunteers of the Year – Annie Lusk and Mike Wold and Change Agent of the Year – Jarvis Capucion.
Our Event sponsors funded the cost of the Breakfast, allowing individual donations to directly benefit the work at Real Change.
