This week, Real Change is celebrating 26 years of opportunity and hope by bringing you a little inspiration each and every day.
With your support, we’re celebrating the vendors who work hard for their success and the community that supports them. We’re recognizing excellence in journalism, celebrating our community partners and imagining the change we need.
Your grassroots support of our work — which comprises more than 60 percent of our annual budget — makes everything we do possible. This month, our goal is to raise the $146,610 we need to keep our essential work on track during these extremely challenging times.
It’s a big goal, and we get there one heartfelt gift at a time. Our generous supporters have already contributed $65,535.50 toward our work, and we hope you’ll join them today with a gift of your own.
While you can find our daily offerings on Real Change Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, we hope you’ll join us personally on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 8 a.m. for the live forum we’re hosting for this year’s annual event.
I’ll be joined that morning by three visionary community leaders — Sharon Lee, Juan José Bocanegra and Nikkita Oliver — in imagining the change that’s possible in these challenging and turbulent times.
Please join us in envisioning a better future, and make your gift now to support life-changing opportunity for our vendors each and every day.
You can register for the event through Wednesday or make your gift at any time at tinyurl.com/ImagineChange2020. Our friends at the Lucky 7 Foundation will again match donations of $250 or more, and gifts at that level will also receive an Imagine Change T-shirt.
Thank you again for being a part of this amazing community, and for the love that makes Real Change possible.
