Over the course of several weeks, students gathered in a room at Path with Art’s (PWA) Pioneer Square office. Instructor April Ulinski led the creative writing and poetry class, which met for two hours at a time once a week. She encouraged students to express themselves, among them Kelly Lyons.
Lyons lives at Nickelsville, a tiny house village. She was familiar with the program because she’d already taken a watercolor, photography and collage class. However, this was her first PWA writing course. She spoke highly of it.
