- Picture: On Saturday afternoon, July 13, 2002, Marco Martinez, the executive chef at SAFECO Field, provided free meals for 200 homeless individuals at the Boomtown Café. In this photo, a guest enjoys his meal of roast beef, corn on the cob, garlic mashed potatoes, green salad, chocolate chip cookies, and fruit juice. The meal was made possible by Martinez and SAFECO vendor Volume Services America, along with Charlie’s Produce, Interbay Foods, and volunteers from Getty Images.
