Early giving for GiveBIG is underway and this is when you can stretch your gift to Real Change to have twice the impact.
This year, we’re celebrating 25 years of dedicated journalism, meaningful jobs and supportive community. A lot has changed since 1994, but one thing hasn’t: You remain a central part of our mission, and your gift goes a long way in creating vendor success.
Between now and May 8 at midnight, your GiveBIG gift to Real Change of any size will be doubled by our friends at The Wyncote Foundation NW.
Your valued support helps us grow key programs such as:
• The Vendor Center, which provides meaningful employment to almost 300 low-income and homeless people each month
• Trainings and support for jobs that put over $1M annually directly into the pockets of those who need it most
• The Real Change Newspaper, which elevates the voices of those often left unheard and invisible in our city
• The clothing pantry, which provides shoes, clothes and more to help our vendors feel their best
• The Emerald City Resource Guide, a printed, portable guidebook which connects people without access to technology to the services they need
• Advocacy and Organizing, which mobilizes Vendors to take action on issues that impact their daily lives and make the city more livable for all.
Please consider supporting Real Change with a gift of any size between now and May 8 for your gift to go two times as far, to help us secure matching funds and to reach our goal to raise $100,000 to support our programs!
Thank you for your support of our vendors, and for being a part of the caring community that makes Real Change work everyday.
Warmly, Tim Harris, Founding Director
