Over 100 readers, staff members and vendors voted on their favorite Real Change cover of 2023. In previous years, arts editor Henry Behrens chose their favorite of each month to make it easier to get through, but this year every issue was available for choosing — and we learned you love it that way!
While there was a wide spread of votes, we also had some clear winners. Congratulations to Lara Kaminoff, who was the artist behind our Dec. 13 cover. Second place was tied between Robin Hunt for their Dec. 27 illustration about the future of Seattle theater and Nero O’Reilly for his
Oct. 4 portrait of 2023 Vendor of the Year Angie Brown. Third place went to Nina Butorac for her portrait of the other 2023 Vendor of the Year, Ron Woolms. All the artists volunteer their time and energy to Real Change, and we are so grateful!
Thank you to everyone who voted. Your support and engagement mean the world to us.
Here’s to an art-filled 2024, and congratulations to the winners!
