I know it’s a cliche at this point, but — wow, this has been a difficult year. Through it all, I am so grateful to be a part of this community of vendors, volunteers, readers and staff.
This is a resilient team that truly inspires me. The Vendor Program staff have continued case management, launched a grocery and hygiene center and distributed cash cards to make up for lost vendor income. The newsroom has kept publishing the quality journalism we rely on. Advocacy won funding for public sinks. And so much more.
