The Seattle City Council voted unanimously to create a Film Commission, a group that will work to attract the film industry to stage productions in the city and create work opportunities for groups that have historically been left out.
Seattle is allegedly home base for many fictional characters, like the occasionally life-saving doctors of “Grey’s Anatomy” or the amateur chef and undead detectives of “iZombie,” but those depictions of the Emerald City are often staged.
