Thurs., May 28, 1:31 a.m., 600 blk First Avenue. Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up call from a pay phone in Pioneer Square Park. The park is clearly marked with signs saying it is closed between 11:30 p.m. and 4 a.m. They contacted the subject, a transient black male aged 53, who could not tell them why he called. He stated he was part of the secret service, but could not elaborate on why he needed the police. He dropped to his stomach in the prone position without asking, and it took several minutes to get him back on his feet. ...

Sat., May 30, 12:24 p.m., Lenora St. Officers responded to the report of an assault at the 200 block of Lenora Street. They arrived and contacted the complainant, a transient white female aged 42. She said she was trying to coax two males into buying a copy of Real Change when one of the subjects kicked her in the buttocks for no reason. He was yelling obscenities as he kicked her. He was last seen walking southbound on Second Ave., but an area search was negative. ...

Fri., Jan. 2, 8:02 p.m., Bellevue Ave. Officers were dispatched to a report of an assault, and arrived to find the victim, a transient black male aged 44, who was bleeding from the nose. Officers have had contact with this suspect before, who appears to have mental issues. Victim stated that he had had a fight the previous day with an employee of City Market, and believes the assault was in retaliation. He stated he was attacked by eight persons unknown to him. ...

Fri., May 1, 5:00 p.m., Third Ave. According to victim, a transient black female aged 53, was sitting inside the Downtown Emergency Women's Shelter on Third Ave waiting to get in. She had her two suitcases sitting next to her. She stated she went to the store next door to get cigarettes, and left her suitcases inside the shelter. When she returned a few minutes later her suitcases were gone. There were no witnesses, and when victim attempted to report the robbery she said the shelter would not let her use the phone. All of her belongings were inside the cases. ...

Fri., April 17, 10:56 p.m., Beacon Ave. S. Officers were dispatched to a call of a man pouring gasoline over his head at the 76 Gas Station on Beacon Ave. They arrived on the scene and were waved down by witness who was pushing the subject in a wheelchair. Officers recognized the subject, a transient native American male aged 40, from previous encounters. One officer had actually had the subject involuntarily committed for a mental health evaluation several weeks before. Witness stated he had seen the subject raise two gas pumps over his head and pour gasoline over his body. ...

Thurs., April 16, 1:50 p.m., Northwest Hospital, N. 115th St. Officers were dispatched to Northwest Hospital to meet security, who were dealing with a discharged patient who was refusing to leave the premises. They contacted both parties at the west side main entrance doors, still on hospital property. The subject, a white female aged 54, was wearing open shoes with no socks, a light short sleeved t-shirt and light nylon pants. The subject said that she wanted to be re-admitted to the hospital. ...

Sun., April 5, 8:33 a.m., Pioneer Square. A witness called 911 to report that he witnessed a male kicking another male in the head in Pioneer Square. He stated the suspect was walking eastbound on Cherry St. from First Ave. Witness described the suspect, and stated suspect and victim had been arguing before the assault. Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate victim or suspect. Witness called police back and told officers he had located the suspect, but did not want police involved. ...

Thurs., June 12, 2:05 p.m., Westlake Park. Officer was patrolling on Fourth Avenue and Pine Street when he was contacted by complainant who pointed out a female in Westlake Park and advised that she was a runaway from Shelton, Washington. Complainant gave the officer her name and date of birth. The officer contacted the 17-year-old female and advised that he was aware that she was a runway and that the complainant was there to take her home. ...

Wed., June 11, 8:51 a.m., MLK Jr. Way S. Subject, a transient white male aged 51, called 911 from MLK Jr. Way and stated that he wanted to kill himself, and had cut himself with a razor blade. Seattle Fire department (SFD) responded with Seattle Police and found subject conscious and alert upon their arrival. He appeared intoxicated, and had the odor of intoxicants on his breath. He had lacerations on his abdomen, and stated he had inflicted them himself because he did not want to live. He stated that he had been drinking, and had attempted suicide in the past. ...

Thurs., April 2,, 1:41 a.m., Yale Ave. Officers were dispatched to a report of an assault in progress. Upon arrival they contacted the victim, a transient Native American female aged 41, who was extremely intoxicated. Victim stated that her boyfriend pushed her to the ground and hit her head on the pavement multiple times. She stated this occurred under the overpass. Victim was uncooperative and tried to walk away several times during the interview. She would not give a description of the suspect, and stated she just wanted to go to sleep. ...
