Karl-Heinz Wendicke, 65, has been selling street paper BISS at the Marienplatz in Munich, Germany, for the past 17 years. The street paper continues to be a support to this veteran vendor.
"I have been around for a long time. In fact, I have sold BISS ever since it started," Wendicke said.
"A lot has changed since then. The differences are clear to see on the streets. In the last couple of years I have noticed more and more poor people, mainly older women. There are five or six people here who eat out of rubbish bins," he said. ...
